Charity Skydive in aid of Lindsey Lodge Hospice

In memory of John Hopper

Welcome

On Saturday 4th July 2009 I am doing a sponsored skydive in memory of my Step Dad John Hopper. All money raised will be going to the Lindsey Lodge Hospice in Scunthorpe.

What am I doing? (I keep asking myself that!...)
Basically at about 15,000 feet I will leap out of a plane (fastened to an experienced Skydiver...I hope!) from this height I will experience terminal velocity at around 120 mph, freefalling for up to a minute!

Why am I doing a Skydive?
My step dad John sadly lost his battle agaist cancer in December 2008. He had spent 7 weeks in Lindsey Lodge Hospice. The care and support that John and my Mum were given during this time was amazing. All the nurses and members of staff were brilliant and nothing was too much trouble. So I have decided to do a sponsored skydive in memory of John and as a ‘Thank You’ to the hospice.

About Lindsey Lodge Hospice
Lindsey Lodge Hospice is an independent charity which provides both day and residential care for adults in North Lincolnshire affected by life threatening illnesses such as cancer, multiple sclerosis and motor neurone disease.
I would really appreciate it if you would sponsor me, it costs nearly £3.50 every minute to run Lindsey Lodge Hospice. So every penny counts!

It couldn't be easier to sponsor me, simply click on the 'Sponsor Me' link on the right of the page.

Many thanks
Lindsay
